This programme aims to help children and adults understand the critical role that the ecosystems and its wildlife play in the health of the planet as well as building a sense of connection between them and the wildlife. Maz, as project manager, hopes to inspire better conservation awareness and effort among the public by engaging people’s creativity and promoting a conservation mind-set.
A total of seven art contests, ranging in different art styles and themes, were planned from June 2020 to December 2020. Once a month, a designated art contest and its criteria will be announced and open to the public to submit their art entries. Entries will close at the end of the month and the winner of that art contest will be announced shortly thereafter. The winner will receive a prize while top artworks will be displayed on to DGFC’s social media platforms.
